| Shirley came to UW in 1965 and worked in the Arts Library for two years before completing an MA in English. She resumed her UW career in 1984, serving as Project Coordinator for Waterloo Smoking Projects, Assistant to the Provost, and finally Executive Assistant in the Faculty of Mathematics until retirement in 2005. | ||

| Lorraine came to the University of Waterloo to do graduate work in 1969, and she never left. After receiving a Ph.D. in Philosophy and working briefly in the Dean of Arts Office, Lorraine spent her UW career in the Library. She was the Library’s Director, Resources Management when she retired in 2005. She has also held part-time faculty appointments in UW’s Philosophy Department, at Renison College and at King’s College (Western). Lorraine served on the Board of Governors Pension and Benefits Committee and was a facilitator in the University’s “Leadership for Results” program. | ||

| Judy taught psychology at St. Jerome's College from 1975 to 1996, primarily in the areas of clinical, developmental, and educational psychology. She chaired the department from 1981-1987 and was the Associate Director in the Institute for the Study of Learning Disabilities from 1980-1995. She served on the Council of the College of Psychologists of Ontario for 6 years, 1 year as president, and has also served on various local boards. | ||

| Pat graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics in 1973 and began her working career at UW in 1991. She was initially a campaign assistant in the Offices of Development & Alumni Affairs, and then the planned giving officer for UW. From 2000 until retirement in 2008, she served as the alumni officer for the Faculty of Mathematics. Pat's volunteer roles at UW included chair for the Keystone Campaign Special Events (2002-04) and co-chair for the University's United Way Campaign (2003 - present). | ||

| Terry began his UW career in 1969 with the Department of Electrical Engineering, serving as an electronic technologist. He remained with the department throughout his career except for a three year period in the early eighties, when he handled the procurement of scientific and electronic equipment for the Purchasing Department. His later years were spent in the undergraduate laboratories as a lab instructor. Terry retired in 2005. | ||

| Rediña arrived in Waterloo in the Fall of 1969 from Toronto, and began work at UW as Secretary to the Dean of Mathematics. She remained in that position and worked for the first six Deans of Math until her retirement in 2000. She intended to continue her studies (as an elem. school teacher) but the Faculty of Math was such a great place to work and she decided to stay on until retirement. Rediña still works part-time at The Centre-in-the-Square. | ||
