UWRA LUNCHEONS AND BUS TOURS: NOT JUST FOR COUPLES

Our social events attract retired staff and faculty from all areas of UW and provide excellent opportunities to renew old acquaintances and make new friends. Retirees are welcome to invite one or more guests to accompany them. Whether you bring guests or your spouse or come solo, you will have a friendly and enjoyable time and we'll assure you of a warm welcome!


The University of Waterloo Recreation Committee plans a series of events and activities that are open to retirees. Please check their website for more information.

The 2011 touring season is now in the history books and, by all accounts, was financially successful and well-attended. Our thanks goes to all of you participants for supporting our endeavours and for your punctuality and cooperation during each event. It makes my job a lot easier!

UWRA Bus Tours

Please join us for one or all of our UWRA coach trips planned for this year. As these trips are very popular, be sure to register early to secure your place.

See some of the changes at UW, as we visit the new facilities of Chemical Engineering in Engineering 6 and the Faculty of Environment in Environment 3. Lunch will follow at Kitchener's Mandarin Restaurant and then we will be given a facinating tour of the Cambridge Toyota plant!

THEATRE ORANGEVILE - MENOPOSITIVE - THE MUSICAL

Enjoy a day of fun in the pretty town of Orangeville! We will view their famous tree sculptures in the morning followed by a lunch at the historic Greystones Inn. Then it's off to Theatre Orangeville for the afternoon performance of the rollicking comedy Menopositive!
